Pick Tracker FAQ
Quick answers to the questions people usually ask before using Pick Tracker for a Sleeper dynasty draft.
Does Pick Tracker work with Sleeper?
Pick Tracker is built specifically for Sleeper. It reads public league and draft data from the Sleeper API, so it works with any Sleeper league without requiring a login or account setup.
Do I need a Sleeper login to use Pick Tracker?
No login is needed. Pick Tracker reads public Sleeper data, so anyone with a league ID or Sleeper username can load a board — including leaguemates who just want to follow along.
Can I use a Sleeper username instead of a league ID?
Either works. Enter a Sleeper username and Pick Tracker will show the leagues tied to that account so you can pick the right one. If you already have the league ID, paste it directly for a faster path. See the league ID guide if you need help finding it.
How does placeholder-position tracking work?
After you select a league and draft, choose the position your league uses as the placeholder for rookie-pick order (K, DL, LB, or DB). As those positions are drafted, the board labels each one with the corresponding rookie pick — for example, the first kicker taken becomes 1.01. Read more about how the format works.
Does the board show traded picks?
Traded picks appear on the board with the new owner's name highlighted on the cell. If a pick is traded while you are watching, the change animates in so you do not have to refresh.
How often does the board refresh during a live draft?
The board polls the Sleeper API automatically. During a live draft, it refreshes roughly every few seconds based on the pick timer your league uses. You can also tap the status indicator to force an immediate refresh.
What happens if the draft has not started yet?
Pick Tracker shows a countdown to the scheduled start time along with the league name, draft type, and number of teams. Once the first pick is made, the board appears automatically.
Can I share a Pick Tracker board with my league?
Once the board is loaded, tap the Share button to copy the URL. Anyone who opens that link sees the same live board — no setup required on their end.
Does it work on mobile?
The board is responsive and works in any mobile browser. On smaller screens, the summary cards collapse into a drawer at the top so the board gets the full viewport.
Is Pick Tracker affiliated with Sleeper?
Pick Tracker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sleeper. All data shown comes from public Sleeper league and draft information.
Still need setup help?
